Post 3: My favourites movies

It's very difficult to choose my favourites movies because I like a lot of movies, but in this opportunity I will do an exception.

A movie that I really enjoy every time I see it is “Back to the future”, a science fiction film of 1985 which actors are Michael Fox and Christopher Lloyd. I like this picture by the idea of travel through of time both past and future and because it’s decorated in the eighties.

However, I have to accept that I love the movies produced at the nineties. A movie which I have affection is “What’s eating Gilbert Grape?”, a drama starred by Johnny Depp, Juliette Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio. I like this film because it describes a sensitive young man who cares a lot of his family, specially his mom and little brother, he abandons himself in the sense of putting aside his personal life.

Finally, another movie that I like is “Notting Hill”, a romantic film starred by Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. I like this film because is attractive the idea of meeting with a famous actress or actor, and then start dating with that person.

Post 9: Changes to my study program

Imagen
In this post, I’m going to talk about the changes I would like to apply in the career of Anthropology of this university. I think that there are three focuses that need a transformation: curricula, professors (including academic charge) and facilities. About the curricula, I think that basic cycle of the career should improve, the subjects should be equally distributed in order for exist the same number of subjects for the three majors (archaeology, social anthropology and physical anthropology). I say this because currently the basic cycle has a predominance of subjects of social anthropology. On the other hand, about the major of archaeology I think that should be included more applied subjects that mean subjects that allow us to understand the different fields in which archaeologists perform in the current field work in our country. Now, about the professors of Department of Anthropology I think there should also be changes, in the sense that new professors should be hired,...

Post 8: Summer plans

Imagen
In this post, I’m gonna talk about summer plans. The truth is that I have not thought about what I will do during my summer vacation, also I’m not a person who makes long-term plans. What I do know is that I want to work on something during December at least, maybe in a movie theater or as a waitress at events (like graduation or marriage parties). Another thing that I would love to do during the vacations is to go out with my friends, whom I see a few during the rest of the year, read the stack of books that is waiting for me and watch the series and movies that I have pending. In addition, something I really enjoy during the summer is to eat seasonal fruits, like watermelon, melon, grapes, strawberries, peaches, apricots and cherries; I love them! Now, about the subject of the holidays themselves I don’t know what to say. I think I would like to go to the beach with my friends and go to the south (ninth and tenth region) with my family, because I love the southern lakes, but...

Post 6: Environmental care

Imagen
In this post, I’m gonna talk about the importance of taking care of the environment. To cooperate in the care of the planet, one of the most important step that can be carried out is the acquisition of the “three R”, that is reduce, re-use and recycle. The principle of three R refers to the development of responsible consumer habits: reduce the consumption of assets and energy, reuse an object to give it a second life (that is, to reuse something that may still be useful in either its original function or in a new function) and recycle, that is subjecting already used materials to a transformation process so that they can be reused. Personally, I always seek to comply with these three principles, either using only the exact and necessary energy, reducing water consumption, using public transportation, recycling, etc. One of the things that I give more importance is the recycling; I’m looking to recycle the largest amount of things that the “green point” of Homecenter allows me...
